Difinepr
Cookie Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how the DiFine PR website uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on a computer, tablet or mobile device when a website is visited. Similar technologies may use browser storage, pixels, tags or scripts. They can make a website function, remember choices, support security, measure performance or enable content supplied by third parties.
2. Types of cookies
- Strictly necessary: required for essential website operation, security, network management or a service explicitly requested by the user. These do not normally require consent.
- Preference: remember choices such as language or display settings.
- Analytics: help understand how visitors use the website and how it can be improved.
- Marketing and social media: may track activity across websites, measure campaigns or support embedded social content.
3. Cookies currently used
The DiFine PR theme does not itself set analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress may use strictly necessary cookies for administrators, authenticated users, security checks or comment functionality if those features are enabled. The hosting provider may process technical request logs for security and delivery. Additional plugins, analytics tools, embedded media, maps, social content or marketing services installed on the live website may add cookies and must be listed here before activation.
The website administrator should maintain an up-to-date cookie inventory containing each cookie or technology name, provider, purpose, category and duration. That inventory must reflect the live website rather than the theme alone.
4. Consent
Strictly necessary cookies may be used without consent where legally permitted. Preference, analytics, marketing and other non-essential technologies must not be activated until the visitor has received clear information and provided valid consent. Visitors must be able to refuse non-essential cookies and withdraw consent as easily as they gave it.
5. Managing choices
If a consent panel is active, use its settings control to accept, refuse or change optional categories. Cookies can also be blocked or deleted through browser privacy settings. Blocking necessary technologies may affect website functionality. Browser controls vary, so consult the help pages for the browser or device being used.
6. Third-party services
Links to LinkedIn, Facebook or other external websites do not by themselves place those services’ cookies through this theme. If third-party content is embedded or their scripts are activated, those providers may set cookies and process data under their own policies. Such services should be blocked until consent where required.
7. Updates
We may update this policy when technologies, providers or legal requirements change. The revised version will be published here with a new “Last updated” date.
